RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the Culver City City Council:
Continue this public hearing to Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 6:00 PM.
DISCUSSION
This item is a routine reporting requirement of the City’s participation in the Federal
Government’s Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. The associated PHA
Annual Plan must be submitted to the Federal Government no later than April 17, 2008.
Under the federal rules, at least 45 days’ notice of this public hearing is required. At the
time notice was originally published (in late February, 2008), the date for this evening’s
public hearing related to the Entrada Project had not been set. Courtesy notices
informing persons about this continuance have been mailed to the Section 8 Owners
and Participants.
Based upon the other items on this evening’s agenda, staff recommends this public
hearing be continued to Tuesday, April 15, 2008.
