RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Commission receive and file the report from the Recreation Division of the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department regarding a preview of the Annual Culver City Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration to be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The PRCS Director has scheduled this report to the Commission as an informational item. The report will be presented as a slide show (Attachment 1) followed by a question-and-answer period. This evening’s report will be presented by Mrs. Arames White-Shearin, MPA, Recreation Coordinator, Youth and Teen Programs. Mrs. White-Shearin serves as the staff liaison to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Committee. The 2018 Celebration will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Culver City Senior Center, 4095 Overland Avenue, Culver City, CA 90232.
