Implementation Agreement between the City of Culver City, the Successor

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the City Council and Successor Agency Board (SA) continue this
public hearing to the August 11, 2014 at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as the City
Council and Successor Agency Board may determine to consider this item.
PROCEDURE:
1. The Mayor/Chair seeks a motion from the City Council/Successor Agency Board to
receive and file the affidavits of publication and posting of notices and
correspondence received in response to the public hearing notices (completed at
July 14, 2014 Council Meeting); and,

2. The Mayor/Chair calls for a staff report and the City Council/Board Members may
pose questions to staff as desired (completed at July 14, 2014 Council Meeting);
and,
3. The Mayor/Chair seeks a motion to open the public hearing (completed at July 14,
2014 Council Meeting); and,
It is requested that the public hearing be continued to August 11, 2014, at
which time the following procedures will be completed:
4. The Mayor/Chair seeks motion to close the public hearing after all public testimony
has been presented; and,
5. The City Council/Successor Agency Board discuss the item and arrives at a
decision.
BACKGROUND:
The City and Successor Agency provided notice required by law of this public hearing,
which commenced on July 14, 2014 at the City Council and Successor Agency Board
meetings. At that time, in accordance with staff’s recommendation, the City Council and
Successor Agency Board continued this public hearing to July 28, 2014 at 7:00 PM to
allow the parties to continue negotiations related to the proposed Implementation
Agreement.
DISCUSSION:
While negotiations have continued during this time, they have not yet concluded.
Therefore, staff recommends the City Council and Successor Agency Board continue
this public hearing to August 11, 2014 at 7:00 PM (or as soon thereafter as the City
Council and Successor Agency may consider this item).
FISCAL ANALYSIS:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.
