City of Culver City, California City Council Agenda Item Report RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council continue this public hearing to Monday, July 28, 2008, at 7:00 PM. BACKGROUND: On May 27, 2008, the City Council conducted a public hearing on this item, and after taking all public testimony and completing its discussion, continued the item to June 23, 2008 in order to obtain additional information. The City Attorney’s office is still conducting research regarding the issues raised by the Council at the last meeting. The research is complex and is taking longer than anticipated. Therefore, staff is recommending this item be continued in order for the Council to receive complete and accurate information to assist it in its discussion and decision on this matter. Staff has spoken with the applicant regarding this requested continuance. Since the applicant will be out of the office the week of July 14, they have requested this item be continued to July 28. MOTIONS: That the City Council: Continue the Public Hearing to Monday, July 28, 2008, at 7:00 PM.
