RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council authorize the release of a request for proposals (RFP) for the resurfacing of various courts at multiple parks.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Department is seeking to release an RFP for a qualified vendor to repair and resurface play courts at six park locations. Culver City has multiple parks with outdoor sport courts, including basketball, tennis, paddleball/ pickleball and ball walls. These courts are highly used and require repairs to cracks, uneven pavement, painted surfaces and lines. This project will renovate the courts to provide safe, playable surfaces.
Repair and resurfacing work will be required at the following locations, with court types and number of quantities listed:

FISCAL ANALYSIS
There is no fiscal impact from the release of the RFP for various courts at multiple parks to be resurfaced. The Adopted Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 includes funding in CIP PZ640 (Resurface/Restripe Sports Courts) to support the courts resurfacing at Culver West Alexander Park, Culver City Park, Fox Hills Park, Lindberg Park, Syd Kronenthal Park, and Veterans Memorial Park.
