BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION
In keeping with the FAC Fiscal Year 2023 Work Plan, the following FAC ad hoc subcommittees will offer reports for discussion, recommendations, and next steps:
• Assets Ad Hoc Subcommittee
o Members: Bauer, Griffing, Lachoff
o Purpose: This ad hoc subcommittee was established to analyze real property assets for Culver City, including but not limited to opportunities to maximize revenue at parks.
• Structural Revenue Review Ad Hoc Subcommittee
o Members: Bauer, Jones, Lachman
o Purpose: This ad hoc subcommittee was established to identify and review all current revenue sources in the City.
• City Council Engagement Ad Hoc Subcommittee
o Members: Jacobsen, Jones, Lachman, Lachoff
o Purpose: This ad hoc subcommittee was established to identify ways to broaden the relationship between the FAC and the City Council.
o The ad hoc subcommittee was formed on March 8, 2023.
• Affordable Housing Ad Hoc Subcommittee
o Members: Bauer, Jacobsen, Lachman
o Purpose: This ad hoc subcommittee was established to formulate a speaker series on the economics of affordable housing and identify potential speakers.
o The ad hoc subcommittee was formed on April 12, 2023.
• 2024 Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee
o Members: Di Vincente, Griffing, Jacobsen, Lachman
o Purpose: This ad hoc subcommittee was established to research, implement, and continue a City Innovation Award Program to encourage employees and/or departments to contribute towards increased efficiency, improved quality of life for Culver City residents, reduced costs and/or generated revenue, or to demonstrate distinguished performance based on department goals/outcome measures.
o The ad hoc subcommittee was formed on July 12, 2023.
