City of Culver City, California Agenda Item Report RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council adopt a proposed Ordinance (Attachment No. 1), amending Culver City Municipal Code (CCMC) Section 9.10.600 regarding the definition and establishment, by resolution, of designated dog paths within Culver City parks. BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION: At its meeting of June 17, 2014, the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission recommended to the City Council approval of an amendment to the CCMC to allow for the establishment of designated dog paths by resolution of the City Council. At the City Council meeting of July 14, 2014, the City Council unanimously introduced a proposed ordinance amending CCMC Section 9.10.600 regarding the definition and establishment, by resolution, of designated dog paths within Culver City parks. The proposed ordinance is brought back tonight for adoption by the City Council. FISCAL ANALYSIS: There is no fiscal impact associated with the adoption of the proposed Ordinance.
