RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee (EHRAC) (1) perform a post event analysis; (2) receive, review, and file post event evaluation overview from attendees, facilitators, and EHRAC Members; and (3) if deemed appropriate, discuss and consider strategies for future events.
BACKGROUND
On February 25, 2025, the Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee (EHRAC) hosted an event entitled: Community Conversations: Spark Healing through Conversation- How the Middle East Crisis Affects me. (Attachment 1) The event consisted of the following:
* Facilitator Introductions
* Facilitator Demonstrated Model Dialogue
* Small Group Discussions
* Brief sharing of individual takeaways from the small group discussions
* Concluding commentary on next steps from audience members
There were 74 attendees, 2 facilitators, 12 support facilitators, 7 EHRAC Members, and 4 staff members in attendance.
On March 12, 2025, a post event survey was sent out to all registered attendees. On March 19, 2025, a reminder email was sent out to all attendees to complete the post event survey. All responses were reported...
