RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee (EHRAC) discuss the creation of a Public Events Ad Hoc Subcommittee to plan public events for fiscal year 2022-2023; (2) (if desired) form a Public Events Ad Hoc Subcommittee for fiscal year 2022-2023 and appointment members thereto; and (3) provide direction to staff if deemed appropriate.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
During the March 22, 2022 regular meeting, Chair Rona achieved consensus to agenidze this item during the April 26, 2022 regular meeting.
The Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee has held various public events in fiscal year 2021-2022 and they would like to continue to hold public events in the new fiscal year of 2022-2023. The public events in fiscal year 2022-2023 will also include the postponed events from the 2021-2022 fiscal year that were carried over to the new fiscal year.
