RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council receive and file the Biannual Written Reports of Commissions Boards and Committees (CBCs).
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Per City Council Policy Number 3002, most recently updated in May 2021, "Periodically but no less than biannually, each CBC shall submit to City Council a written report on their respective activities."
Certain bodies already provide the City Council with written reports, such as the Finance Advisory Committee. However, for ease of review and standardization, the City Clerk's office will, biannually gather and compile the written reports into one agenda item moving forward. Biannual CBCs written reports were compiled by staff and discussed at the CBC meeting. The following CBCs have submitted written reports:
* Advisory Committee on Housing and Homelessness
* Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee
* Cultural Affairs Commission
* Disability Advisory Committee
* Equity & Human Relations Advisory Committee
* Finance Advisory Committee
* Fiesta La Ballona Committee
* Landlord Tenant Mediation Board
* Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission
* Planning Commission
