RECOMMENDATION

The Ad Hoc Mobile Crisis Intervention Subcommittee, consisting of Mayor Fisch and Council Member McMorrin (Subcommittee), recommends the City Council (1) approve a professional services agreement with Critical Response in Supportive Integrated Services for the development on a mobile crisis intervention program to meet the Culver City community's mental and behavioral health needs, in an amount not-to-exceed $45,000; and (2) provide other direction to the City Manager as deemed appropriate.


BACKGROUND

Under City Council's direction, the City performed a Public Safety Review during the Summer and Fall of 2020. Staff worked with Solidarity Consulting and the Center for Public Safety Management (CPSM) to assess and make recommendations for how the City will move forward in reimagining public safety.
