RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends City Council (1) adopt a Resolution authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute any actions necessary for the purpose of obtaining financial assistance provided by the State of California Department of Transportation State of Good Repair Program; and (2) adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager or designee to submit a claim to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) for Transportation Development Act (TDA) funds for FY2021/2022.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
As part of the annual process accepting statewide available funding committed to transportation programs, the Transportation department is required to obtain resolutions for both the SB1 State of Good Repair and TDA funds.
