RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Equity & Human Relations Advisory Committee (EHRAC): (1) discuss changing the name of the Committee; (2) make any recommended changes to City Council; and (3) provide direction to staff if deemed appropriate.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
This item is carried forward from the last regular meeting of January 26, 2021.
Chair Rona obtained consensus to place an item on the agenda to discuss changing the Committee name, by removing the word “Advisory”, or other possible name changes so the acronym is easier to pronounce and remember.
Changing the name of the Committee would necessitate a change in the EHRAC Bylaws, and City Council approval.
FISCAL ANALYSIS
There is no fiscal impact associated with this Agenda item.
