BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

At the October 27, 2020 Mobility Subcommittee meeting, Staff presented the Move Culver City Project and its first pilot - the Downtown Tactical Mobility Lanes (the Project). The Subcommittee directed Staff to return to the Subcommittee on November 19 to review and discuss the design concepts and implementation costs.

At the November Mobility Subcommittee meeting, Staff will provide an update on the Project progress/activities. Staff will present the design concepts, input from the public, businesses stakeholders and the Community Project Advisory Committee (CPAC), and the estimated costs to implement the mobility lanes and operate the Circulator service. In order to adhere to the progressive project timeline, Staff is seeking direction from the Subcommittee on the recommended mobility lane design concept and Circulator service.
