RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council (1) continue its discussion regarding rent control and tenant protection policies for inclusion in a permanent program; and (2) provide direction to the City Manager as deemed appropriate.
In order to facilitate discussion and move through the numerous policy issues to be considered during this meeting, staff recommends the City Council follow the Ordinance Checklists attached to this report.
