RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council fill a vacancy for Seat No. 4 on the Disability Advisory Committee (DAC) for an unexpired term ending June 30, 2020.
BACKGROUND/ DISCUSSION:
At the City Council Meeting of October 14, 2019, the City Council directed staff to contact a targeted pool of recent DAC applicants who were not appointed to a Commission, Board, or Committee (CBC) to determine their continued interest and availability to serve in the position. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Ko Ko Naing. The appointment will be for an unexpired term, which ends on June 30, 2020.
On October 16, 2019, the City Clerk’s Office reached out to the pool of three eligible prior DAC applicants via email and two of them expressed interest in the position. Applicants were invited to provide any updates regarding their applications.
