RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Cultural Affairs Commission (CAC) consider the information provided, approve the CCCAF FY 2018-2019 Work Plan for Cultural Affairs, and consider the timing of future updates from the CCCAF on its events and activities.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Section 6-A of the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Culver City and the CCCAF, dated April 5, 2018, Section states:
CCCAF shall provide a written plan of activities (the "Plan") no later than thirty (30) days following the commencement of the fiscal year (July 1). The Plan shall include a general outline of the CCCAF to assist in fundraising to carry out the goals of the Cultural Affairs Work Plan. The Plan shall also outline a per project budget for any planned fundraising activities.
The CCCAF transmitted a letter, dated July 23, 2018, outlining three programs/projects as included in the City Council adopted FY 2018-2019 Cultural Affairs Budget / Work Plan: Artist Laureate Program; Performing Arts Grant Program; and, Veterans Memorial Auditorium Enhancements.
