RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council fill a vacancy for Seat No. 2 on the Committee on Homelessness for an unexpired term ending June 30, 2020.
BACKGROUND/ DISCUSSION:
At the City Council Meeting of June 25, 2018, the City Council directed staff to contact 2018 Committee on Homelessness (CoH) applicants who were not appointed to a Commission, Board, or Committee (CBC) to gauge their interest in being considered to fill the unscheduled vacancy on the CoH. The vacancy was created by the appointment of Peter Capone-Newton to the General Plan Advisory Committee. The appointment will be for an unexpired term, which ends on June 30, 2020.
The City Clerk's Office reached out to the pool of nine (9) eligible prior applicants on August 24, 2018 via email. Applicants were invited to provide any updates regarding their applications.
Attached are the redacted applications for review.
Katy Krantz - Ms. Krantz originally applied but rescinded her application prior to Ciity Council review. Ms. Krantz would like to once again be considered for this vacancy.
