BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee (EHRAC) is presenting a Community Conversations: Courageous Conversations Workshop. Facilitated by Maia Ferdman of Bridges: Intergroup Relations Consulting, this 2.5-hour workshop will include the following:
1. A presentation on two essential civil discourse enabling, courageous conversation skills; and
2. Group exercises, activities and/or discussions designed to allow participants to practice the presented skills.
FISCAL ANALYSIS
The fiscal impacts include the fees associated with securing facilitator Maia Ferdman of Bridges Intergroup Relations Consulting ($1,500.00) and procuring snacks for the event. ($100.00) for a total of $1,600.00.
